About Us
Bridges Counseling and Family Services Center, LLC opened its doors on July 1, 2015. Bridges Counseling and Family Services Center was created with the idea of implementing a fresh, high-quality mental health facility for both clients and employees. Ryan Vogt, Melissa Hughes and Sara Brenner(Wehrkamp) came together to establish a private practice. The original vision was to be a small practice with the ability to treat clients effectively. Bridges envisioned a practice that clients would have the same trusted provider throughout their treatment with as little interruption as possible. Bridges also aimed to provide a place where employees felt appreciated as the professionals and fulfilled by the work they do. The word ‘productivity’ is not used in the Bridges office, and a unique business model was carefully created to treat the employees as the professionals they are. The Bridges family quickly grew from the three original members adding a variety of service providers. Bridges supports personal and professional growth of our team so that it continues to grow with the community it proudly serves! Bridges plans to continue to grow in the services offered in order to fill the gaps of need in the community.
The three managing members came with diverse backgrounds. In bringing Bridges to life the members strategically worked in different areas of the Social Work field in order to fulfill Bridge’s different roles when it opened. Melissa Hughes is the only original managing member who remains at Bridges. Bridges consistently works on improving the quality of services provided and improving benefits for the employees. Bridges strives to be a valued asset in the community, aiming to improve the quality of life for all those with whom they come into contact.
